Shua

Joshua Santellana Sr., known artistically as Shua, is a dedicated father of four and a multifaceted artist with a passion for self-expression through various forms of art. Whether it’s through vibrant paintings or engaging animations, Shua uses his craft to channel his emotions and share his inner world with others. His artistic journey is deeply personal, as he believes in the power of art to communicate feelings and stories that words sometimes cannot capture.

In addition to his work as a painter, Shua is also an animator, currently developing his original cartoon series Swack & Hairy. His dedication to the creative process is evident in his commitment to bringing new characters and worlds to life through animation.

Shua’s recent works include a collection of emotionally-driven paintings for the Camaleon art show, where he explored the range and depth of human emotion. His mural work is also a significant part of his artistic portfolio, with recent projects including a large-scale mural at the Mitchell School in downtown Victoria, a mural at the Tea House Company, and an original piece at the Power Avenue Warehouse.
